Hosting

Everything your app needs to be online. Already set up.

No servers to rent, no settings to get wrong, nothing to maintain. Your app gets a web address, private storage, sign-in, backups and security from the moment Claude puts it online.

Included with every app

The things that usually need a developer.

A web address, with the padlock

Your app is online straight away at its own address, with the padlock that tells visitors it's secure. Want your own name, like bookings.yourcompany.com? Claude sets it up and tells you the one thing to paste into your domain settings.

Private storage for your information

Customers, bookings, orders: your app keeps its information in its own private, backed-up storage. Nobody can see it until you decide who should.

Sign-in for your users

Let people sign in with their email or their Google account, so each person only sees what's theirs. Your users are kept completely separate from your &Deploy account.

A private test copy

Every app has a second copy just for trying changes, with its own separate information. Your real users never see something half-finished.

Daily backups

Every app's information is backed up automatically every day and kept for two weeks. Need to rewind to an exact moment? Add point-in-time restore.

Email and scheduled tasks

Your app can send emails, like booking confirmations, and run tasks on a schedule, like a Monday-morning summary.

Built to keep working

Reliable, so you don't have to think about it.

Three copies of your dataEach app's database is kept in three copies on separate machines. If one fails, another takes over.
Daily backupsAutomatic, encrypted backups every day, kept for two weeks, stored separately from your app.
Keeps running on its ownYour apps don't depend on our dashboard. If it's ever down for maintenance, your apps stay online.
Grows with your appWhen more people use your app, more capacity is added automatically. You don't need to do anything.

Everything runs on Akamai Cloud. See the live state on our Status page.

What you can put online

Most apps people make with Claude work today.

Booking pages, team trackers, dashboards, sign-up forms, small shops and internal tools all work. If Claude built something that needs a kind of hosting we don't offer yet, we'll say so before anything goes online, rather than putting up something that doesn't work.

Speed

Fast for the people using your app.

BUSY APPS

Grows when it's busy

Your app's pages are cached so they load quickly, and more capacity is added automatically as more people use your app.

QUIET APPS

Rests when it's quiet

On the two smallest sizes, an app with no visitors takes a short rest and wakes in about a second on the next visit. Larger sizes, or the Always on add-on, never rest. The free app sleeps after a week without visitors; nothing is ever deleted.

For your IT team

The technical side, if anyone asks.

Technical details for your IT team
Infrastructure
Akamai Cloud (Linode): Kubernetes (LKE), NodeBalancers, Object Storage, DNS Manager. One region (us-west) at launch.
Database
PostgreSQL 18 per app environment via CloudNativePG (3 instances, automatic failover), pooled through Supavisor. Extensions: pgvector, pg_trgm, citext, pgcrypto, uuid-ossp.
Supabase compatibility
Runs the open-source Supabase stack (PostgREST, Supabase Auth, Storage, Realtime). Apps using @supabase/supabase-js work by changing the URL and publishable key.
Supported apps
Static and single-page apps: React, Vite, Next.js static export, Astro, plain HTML. Server functions and container apps are on the roadmap.
Delivery
Static assets served through Traefik and object storage with cache headers; HTTPS via Let's Encrypt (wildcard and per-domain certificates).
Scaling
Per-environment APIs autoscale (KEDA), scaling to zero on Nano and Small; shared services run multiple replicas with autoscaling and disruption budgets.
